Mobile Banking for BlackBerry and iPhones 

iPhones and Windows Mobile devices are not yet supported, though are planned in the near future.

To register for Mobile Banking on your BlackBerry, select the 'Using BlackBerry' check box on the first registration page, then follow the on-screen instructions.

Once you have registered for Mobile Banking, we will send you a text message. You should follow the link in this message and then follow the instructions on your BlackBerry. The registration process is straightforward - Mobile Banking will guide you through it.

When you complete registration, you follow the link in the message to download Mobile Banking, which will download and install on your BlackBerry. Run Mobile Banking when prompted and follow the on-screen instructions.

If you cannot follow the link, cannot download Mobile Banking, or receive an error message when you try to install it, it’s likely that you will need help from your BlackBerry Administrator.

Do you use a corporate BlackBerry?

If you use a BlackBerry from your work or one that is administered by someone other than you, you may need to take some additional steps to use Mobile Banking on your BlackBerry. It may be that it is not possible to get Mobile Banking on your BlackBerry.

In order to get Mobile Banking on your BlackBerry, you will need:

  • direct access to the internet from your Blackberry. Internet access from your BlackBerry might be restricted if supplied by your employer
  • administrative rights to download and install applications from the internet to your BlackBerry.

If you're not sure, you can ask your company's IT support team. Registering will only take a few minutes.

Can I get Mobile Banking on my BlackBerry?
Personal BlackBerrys less than two years old should support Mobile Banking. Certain older BlackBerrys may support Mobile Banking. We recommend you try registering to find out if yours does.

Corporate BlackBerrys less than two years old should support Mobile Banking, provided that you have:

  • direct access to the internet from your Blackberry. Internet access from your BlackBerry might be restricted if supplied by your employer
  • administrative rights to download and install applications from the internet to your BlackBerry.

If you're not sure, you can ask your company's IT support team. Registering will only take a few minutes.

If you find you are unable to get Mobile Banking on your BlackBerry, you may want to speak to your BlackBerry Administrator about enabling your BlackBerry for Mobile Banking.

I cannot follow the link in the message. What does this mean?
This message means your BlackBerry was unable to connect to the internet. This may be because internet access has been blocked by your BlackBerry Administrator. You will need to speak to your BlackBerry Administrator before you can use Mobile Banking on your phone.

When I follow the link, I cannot download Mobile Banking. What does this mean?
This message means you do not have the administrative rights on your BlackBerry to download the Mobile Banking software. You will need to speak to your BlackBerry Administrator before you can use Mobile Banking on your phone.

When I have downloaded Mobile Banking, the installation fails. What does this mean?
This message means you do not have the administrative rights on your BlackBerry to install the Mobile Banking software. You will need to speak to your BlackBerry Administrator before you can use Mobile Banking on your phone.
